Formed in spring of 2018 in San Diego by four seasoned musicians with a collective resume that reads like a San Diego music Hall of Fame. Comprising vocalist Lucina Mays González (Black Hondo, Madly, Sin Sin 77), guitarist Alia Jyawook (Hot Nerds, El Vez’s The Screamers), bassist Mike Delgado (Moving Units, Shark Attack, Braggers) and drummer Charlie Brownell (Creepxotica, The Nephews, Buzzkill Romantics), Scary Pierre is driven by a darkly infectious post-punk sound with a hedonistic rock ‘n’ roll streak. It’s loud, yet irresistibly danceable music for dark times.
